These grants are for people who (or landlords whose tenants) have a total pre-tax household income of less than £36,000 or live in a pre-eligible postcode and don’t have mains gas central heating. You may need to provide evidence of income for all members of your household. This is to prove you meet our eligibility criteria.
Examples of evidence include bank statements (for all accounts), benefit statement, payslips, and proof of address, such as bill statements or council tax letters. For example, if you are getting a State Pension you will need to provide a proof of benefit letter or if you are getting Universal Credit a copy of your Universal Credit statement. The information you have supplied is being collected for the purposes of determining your eligibility for grants under the Warm Home Suffolk scheme and any fraud will be reported. We will action your request to withdraw your consent within 2 working days and will also discontinue processing your grant application within that timeframe.
Your information will not be used for any other purposes without your consent. Your information will be shared with our procured contractors, relevant local authorities, Suffolk County Council and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ). Your information will be retained by DESNZ for 25 years, and by Lendology and East Suffolk Council for up to eight years after the end of the funding period.
